NOTD: Red suede by Yes Love

Deze nagellak kocht ik aan zee voor minder dan twee euro. De kleur vond ik mooi, maar ik was vooral benieuwd naar het effect. Dit lakje beloofde namelijk een suede-effect te geven. In deze post geef ik mijn mening over deze speciale nagellak.

I bought this nail polish at the beach for less than two euros. I really liked the colour, but I was mostly excited for the effect as this lacquer promises to have a suede-effect. In this post I’ll be giving my opinion on this special nail polish.

Ikzelf ken het merk Yes Love niet en ik heb het ook nog nooit in de winkel gezien, maar op de markt verkochten ze enorm veel verschillende kleuren en effecten van dit merk.
Er was gewone, matte, suede en ook glitterende nagellak.
Ik kocht naast dit rood lakje ook nog een matte kleur.

I don’t know the brand Yes Love and I have never heard of it before, but they sold it on the market in a lot of different colours and effects. There was regular, matte, suede and also glittery nail polish.
I bought, aside from this red lacquer, also a matte colour.

Deze sticker hangt vanboven op het flesje en het is ook het enige dat je doet vermoeden dat hier suede-nagellak inzit. Ik kon me niet echt voorstellen hoe deze nagellak op suede zou lijken, maar als ik hem nu zo zie doet hij me vooral denken aan liquid sand nagellak. Deze kan je onder andere bij OPI vinden en ziet er ongeveer zo uit:

You can find this sticker on top of the bottle and it’s also the only thing that says this is indeed suede nail polish. I couldn’t really imagine how this would look like suede, but when I look at it now it really reminds me of the liquid sand polishes. You can find them for example at OPI and they look something like this:

Zoals je kan zien heeft hij veel weg van dit soort nagellak. Hij is wel matter en heeft een fijnere korrel. Op de foto hieronder draag ik twee normale lagen nagellak, maar zelfs na één laag dekt hij al aardig.

As you can see it really looks like this kind of nail polish. It’s a bit more matte and has a finer texture. On the picture below this I’m wearing two normal coats of nail polish, but you already get a nice amount of coverage after one layer.

Ik ben erg tevreden over deze nagellak, maar nu is het nog afwachten of hij lang blijft zitten. Als ik dit merk nog eens tegenkom, ga ik nog wel eens een kijkje nemen bij de suede-lakjes en misschien koop ik dan nog wel een kleurtje. Nog geen twee euro voor een nagellak is nu niet echt veel, toch?

I’m very pleased with this nail polish, but now I’ll have to wait and see if it stays for a while. If I ever see this brand again I’ll have another look at the suede-polishes and maybe I’ll even buy another shade. Less than two euros for a nail polish isn’t a lot, is it?
